Salamanca's Siebert named to Big 30 roster
Salamanca’s Braden Siebert and Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Scott O’Donnell are among the latest names added to the Big 30 Charities Classic rosters this week.
Siebert, O’Donnell, Pioneer center/defensive tackle Emery Marsh and Bolivar-Richburg wide receiver/defensive back Parker Cole join the New York roster.
St. Marys running back/linebacker/safety Carter Julian, Johnsonburg running back/outside linebacker Jacob Zimmerman and center/defensive tackle Philip Shipe and Kane wide receiver/running back/safety Angelo Costanzo III join Pennsylvania’s roster.
Siebert, the second Salamanca senior announced for the game after teammate Leland John, played running back, wide receiver, tight end and linebacker.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Siebert made All-League First-Team at linebacker. He plans to attend college and major in marketing.
Siebert said he’s looking forward to playing in the Big 30 game and has has watched the other kids from his school play in the game and made it a goal of his since his freshman year. Siebert’s most memorable moment was winning his team’s homecoming game. His hobbies include snowboarding, basketball, lacrosse and golf. Siebert’s favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is LeSean McCoy.
O’Donnell, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound tight end/defensive end, made first-team all-star in his league. An honor roll student, he plans to serve his country, joining the Air Force after graduation.
O’Donnell said he loves playing football and is looking forward to playing one more game in the Big 30 game. His most memorable football event was going undefeated in his 2011 Midget football year. His favorite NFL team is the Indianapolis Colts and his favorite player was Peyton Manning.
