Gridiron Club to host Alumni Appreciation in final game at Vet's Park

The Warriors Gridiron Club has announced that they will celebrate the potential final game at Veteran's Park as the varsity faces the FE Titans on Friday, October 18th, at 7 p.m. All former Salamanca football players are invited to celebrate this milestone and be recognized prior to kickoff. Additional details for this event will be announced at a later date.

F/E just happens to have a long-tenured former Salamanca varsity head coach at the helm. On the Titans’ sideline in 2019 will be a former Salamanca coach, Jason Marsh, who assisted F/E the last two seasons.

Via Gridiron Facebook: "This will be the last football game played on the old vets park. We are asking that all alumni who played warrior football to please join us for a celebration! Let’s pack the stands. We will have alumni players and cheerleaders take the field with the current players and cheerleaders. The game is against Franklinville/Ellicottville and kickoff is 7pm."

This will be a great opportunity to reflect on the history of Vet's Park and Warrior football and celebrate all of those players who are part of the alumni family.
